Dan Telfer

Dan, a Chicago native, has been writing and performing here since 1996.

he has performed improv at the IO Theater for several years. He now performs at The Playground theater with their member team "Pastor of Muppets". He has also coached several teams.

In addition to writing plays for numerous companies around town about everything from the mythological beast Grendel to super heroes, he has performed in many of Live Bait Theater's Fillet of solo festivals, often receiving critic's choice in the chicago reader.

Dan is also a company member of Blewt! Productions, performing in several of their projects including Impress These Apes, Don'T Spit the Water, and Silly Funny Goof Gang.

Dan also placed as a finalist in The Taste of Chicago Zanies/Sierra Mist Stand-up Challenge in 2007.
