Jared Logan

Considered one of the city's finest comedians, Jared Logan was raised in a place called Cassville Hollow in the hills outside of Morgantown, WV. Nothing funny ever happened there. At age 16, his family relocated to Knoxville, TN. After finishing high school he attended the University of Memphis, earning a degree in theater performance. Memphis was a great experience for Jared as it kindled in him a great love for comedy, Elvis, and abject poverty. He now lives in Chicago, performing as a stand-up comedian anywhere and everywhere people will let him on stage. Jared is a member of Blerds.com and is co-creator of the Monthly midnight variety show in Chicago, "A Demon who Never Appeared". Jared is also a regular performer in the hit gameshow , "Don't Spit the Water!" According to a baby-names book Jared owns, the name Jared means "one who rules," and the name Logan means "one from the hollow."

Jared won "The Best Comedian Award" at the 2007 Chicago Comedy Awards.
