Kara Buller

During her five years in Chicago, Kara Buller has done just about all you can do to a stage. She has been a theater critic, writer, actor, improviser, stand-up comic, story-teller, and instructor. She has written and performed three shows in Chicago: A Fag & His Hag, Work and Cowboy Crushes, Prank Calls & The Biblette. In the early spring of 2003, Kara turned her short attention to stand-up comedy. Her unique material, which can touch on anything from hermaphroditism to handbaskets, is delivered with a frenetic, desperate energy that has led some to declare her the funniest female performing in Chicago.
