11th Annual New Year's Eve Rock 'N' Roll Ball Hyatt Regency O'Hare
Features live music by Everclear, the Smoking Popes and Marty Casey & Lovehammers, a DJ, performances by the stand-up comedy superstars from Chicago Underground Comedy, an open bar, food, party favors and more. THE BASICS Chicago Underground Comedy and the Apollo Theater present: Comedian phenom, Tony Sam, and improv and stand-up impresario Nick Morgan, team up to present a four week run at Chicago's Apollo Theater Studio in Lincoln Park every Wednesday night in September, of all new stand-up, two-man improv, sketch and video shorts. A team of comedic proportions, Sam and Morgan are veterans of the Chicago comedy scene. With a combined performance experience of 12 years, they in many ways share similar performance backgrounds and in many ways they do not. They recently teamed up to create what can only be described as hilarious synergy that was heralded in TimeOut Chicago. 
In addition to the two mainstays, each week guest performers from around the city will be featured. Guests with stage experience ranging from I.O. Chicago (formerly ImprovOlympic), The Second City and Chicago Underground Comedy. Money Machine! will take place every Wednesday night at 8pm in September at the Apollo Theater Studio beginning 9/5/07. Tickets are $5. The Pop Stand is a multimedia stand-up comedy event that focuses on anything and everything pop culture. If it is happening in the world now, we will talk about it. The evening will include short films, video presentations and live stand-up performances from Chicago's most talented comedians. Robert Buscemi - (2007 Chicago Comedy Awards Nominee for Best Comedian) Bill Cruz - (2 time NBC Diversity Chicgo Finalist, and Featured performer at OUTLAUGH! - L.A. October 23rd, 2006 - Chicago Undergound Comedy was proud to see several of it's members audition for the 2006 HBO COMEDY FESTIVAL. Performers included, Kumail Nanjiani, Pat Brice, and Prescott Tolk. Congrats!
This September 29th, from 6-8pm, Chicago Underground Comedy will perform at The Freedom Museum at the Tribune building on Chicago's Magnificent Mile. This event is part of the museum's First Friday entertainment series.

5/30/06 We Celebrated ChUC's 1 Year Anniversary! The show featured all of your favorite underground comedian's pulling out all the stops to celebrate 1 year of hilarity at Gunther Murphy's. There was food, and other surprises, in addition to the music of quickly rising Chicago band, Healthy White Baby. The show played to a packed house, and was a memorable night for all.

October 21st, 2005 - Chicago Undergound Comedy was proud to host the, 2005 HBO COMEDY FESTIVAL Chicago auditions at Gunther Murphy's. The line-up included several members of the Underground, and the show was a huge success.
